Dear Partners in Mission,

                Grace mercy and peace be unto all of you from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.  We pray that the mothers had a blessed Mother’s Day celebration. Yesterday Dan and I celebrated 46 years of marriage. We were united in Holy Matrimony on May 13, 1978, at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Detroit Michigan. We give thanks to God for the many blessings that he has bestowed upon during these years. Attached please find our latest newsletter. We thank you for your support and prayers as we serve the Lord as missionaries in the Dominican Republic. God’s richest blessings to all of you!

                Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

(Hebrews 12:1-2)
